Connecting our community
Cysylltu ein cymuned

The Llanrhian Connected Community project helps to promote social connectivity and economic enhancement for the people living in our coastal and pastoral ward, especially as we emerge from a pandemic that has shaken every community worldwide.  It’s more important now than ever that we work together so that we can support our friends, family and neighbours out from lockdown isolation and back out into the community in ways that help people feel safe.

Mae prosiect Cymuned Gysylltiedig Llanrhian yn helpu i hyrwyddo cysylltedd cymdeithasol a gwelliant economaidd i’r bobl sy’n byw yn ein ward arfordirol a bugeiliol, yn enwedig wrth inni ddod allan o bandemig sydd wedi ysgwyd pob cymuned ledled y byd. Mae’n bwysicach nawr nag erioed ein bod ni’n gweithio gyda’n gilydd fel y gallwn gefnogi ein ffrindiau, teulu a chymdogion allan o’r amser cloi ac yn ôl allan i’r gymuned mewn ffyrdd sy’n helpu pobl i deimlo’n ddiogel.

The Llanrhian Connected Community project aims to support members of the Llanrhian parish and beyond.  This map aims to give an idea of those areas within our current support network and is not limited to villages or hamlets.

Nod prosiect Cymuned Gysylltiedig Llanrhian yw cefnogi aelodau plwyf Llanrhian a thu hwnt. Nod y map hwn yw i rhoi syniad o’r ardaloedd hynny yn ein rhwydwaith cymorth cyfredol ac mae’n bwysig i nodi nid yw’n gyfyngedig i bentrefi neu bentrefannau.

What makes our community so special?  Beth sy’n gwneud ein cymuned ni mor arbennig?

We’re proud of our community!  We’re a bilingual, bucolic and blooming area, sitting right on the Western edge of Wales and still thriving in so many ways.  This area has always been home to robust communities, from the cliffside residents of iron age forts to our hard-working farming and fishing heritage and beyond to those small online businesses thriving in a rural place.  We’re proud of our culture and heritage, and welcome visitors and new members to our society to help enrich our experiences and strengthen our communal bonds

Rydyn ni’n falch o’n cymuned! Rydyn ni’n ardal ddwyieithog, bucolig a blodeuog, yn eistedd reit ar gyrion gorllewinol Cymru ac yn dal i ffynnu mewn cymaint o ffyrdd. Mae’r ardal hon wedi bod yn gartref i gymunedau cadarn ers oesoedd, o drigolion caerau oes haearn i’n treftadaeth ffermio a physgota gweithgar a thu hwnt i’r busnesau bach ar-lein hynny sy’n ffynnu mewn lle gwledig. Rydym yn falch o’n diwylliant a’n treftadaeth, ac yn croesawu ymwelwyr ac aelodau newydd i’n cymdeithas i helpu i gyfoethogi ein profiadau a chryfhau ein cysylltiadau cymunedol.
